Located on Union Street between Fillmore Street and Gough Street; Saturday, June 1st from 11am to 7pm and Sunday, June 2nd from 10 am to 6pm.

    Prepare for a cosmic shift in the street festival scene – Union Street Festival 2024 is the antidote to the mundane, a riot of color, sound, and unfiltered expression. We're tearing up the rulebook and giving San Francisco a taste of the uncharted. A haven for the bold, the edgy, and the unapologetically unique. Where the streets come alive with an explosion of culture, creativity, and a whole lot of attitude.

    The Union Street Festival is an annual celebration of San Francisco's vibrant culture, bringing together locals and visitors alike for a weekend of up-and-coming musicians, art, and unforgettable experiences.

    Unity Stage at Union Street and Webster Street

    Just because the music is on the house, don’t expect mundane music – the 2024 event lineup features some of the best up-and-coming musicians in the area. Headlining Saturday, Lyrah was ranked as Spotify’s Top 50 Viral Musicians in 2024 and is continually featured in media and film industry. Headlining Sunday, Chokecherry has become an overnight sensation since their release of ‘Glass Jaw’ gaining more listens than the population of San Francisco within 5 days of its release.

    High-End Artisan Market

    At Union Street Festival attendees can find 140 of the West Coast’s top artisans throughout the event. Products range from luxurious hand-crafted jewelry to furniture. The wide breadth of work throughout the show provides a unique opportunity for attendees to connect with their local artist community. Featured artisans include Golden Gate Furniture which is unique statement pieces created from actual metal from the Golden Gate Bridge, Tina Fossella Pottery creating functional and modern pieces that steal the attention of any room, and Alcala Designs is a second-generation glass artist creating stunning sculptures inspired by natural forms and water.

    Culinary and Drink Alchemy

    Leave the funnel cakes and kettle corn for the carnivals. The collection of over 20 food trucks and vendors hand picked based on creativity and uniqueness is sure to satisfy even the most discerning taste buds. Some of the featured food trucks include Curry Up Now, Cochinita, Cousins Maine Lobster, Kabob Trolley, Curve Ball Sliders, San Diablo Artisanal Churros, and Bowl’d Acai.

    Mixology isn’t just for luxury bars; Union Street Festival is setting itself apart with unique handmade cocktails and beverages. Some of the featured cocktails include a Bianco Negroni Spritz created by Junipero Gin, created with gin, white vermouth, Luxardo Bitter Bianco, soda water and Espressotinis by Wilder. Seasonal beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks will be available throughout the event.

    Experiences

    • Tastings
      Throughout the event attendees will get a chance to try something new. One of the highly anticipated exhibits comes from Whistle Pig where attendees will experience a one-of-a-kind tasting experience with whiskey and waffle pairings from their interactive designed space.
    • Collaborative Art and Live Painting
      Union Street Festival has two unique exhibits coming this year featuring a collaborative paint temple where attendees can come leave their mark and express themselves through creativity. Centered around Love and Unity, the temple looks to bring people of all backgrounds together to create memories as a community and share a part of what makes them unique.

      Also featured will be a live, large-scale painting by renowned artist Francisco Franco. Utilizing spray paint, Francisco is guaranteed to captivate all as he transforms a blank wall into a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork by the end of the event.
    • The Underwood Waiters Race
      The decades old tradition never seems to disappoint; the Waiters Race takes place Sunday, June 2nd, at 12pm at the Unity Stage. Teams of 3 will race 100 feet up and down the street with a serving tray and can of Underwood in a relay format. Each relay teammate will add an additional can to their serving tray, with the last relay teammate carrying 3 cans on their tray. The first team to finish will make away with some epic prizes including the waiters race coveted trophy, cash, wine, whiskey, and more.
    • Non-Stop Music
      Throughout the event there are 3 separate DJ sets spinning house and feel-good music; featuring the DJ Dancepark Collective, Rhett Music, and DJ Cilla.

      On the west end of Union Street attendees can find Bob Culbertson, one of the early adopters of the Chapman Stick, which is an 8-12 string guitar. Bob has been featured on TEDx and has gained worldwide attention for his exceptional talent.
    • Family-Friendly Activities and Vendors
      The event also features several kid-friendly activities and vendors including face painting, balloon art, robotics demonstrations, as well as several specific kids-only vendors.
